The content of your profile is censored to a degree. We're not here to scrutinize your every move. But, we do reserve the right to hide, delete or modify unacceptable profiles that: Contain contact information such as email addresses, ICQ numbers, Telephone numbers, addresses, websites, any IM usernames etc. Are illegal, e.g. under 18 years of age or solicit contact from people under 18 years. Are racist, or attack other groups or religions Contains profanities of any kind - yes, potty-mouths - we're watching you! Please refer to our terms of use for full details.

Easy-peezy... When you join the site, you become a member. But won't be able to contact anyone you may potentially like. So then it's best to become as subscriber and pay a subscription fee to enjoy all the benefits of online dating.

Dateway is the way to date! We provide a safe, secure and anonymous platform for you to find and communicate with people of your choice. Basically, you choose a username (a screen name or alias) and describe yourself and what sort of relationship you're looking for. You can view other people's profiles by searching the site and they can also view your profile. When you find someone that interests you, you can send a message via the site to their username. The message is sent to their email address from your username - your real name and email address are never shown. You can also receive messages from other members in your email inbox. These messages will be from their username and not their real email address, protecting both your and their privacy. When you are ready you may choose to tell the other member your real contact details.

There are 2 ways to do this. When you originally logged in, you were sent a confirmation email. Your login details will appear on this email. If you've deleted this email, then simply click on the "Forgotten your password" link on the home page. This will take you to a new screen which will prompt you to enter your email address (which you should know). Your details will be sent to this address.

Yes you can. You just have to click on your profile and in Step 1, change the details (your username, password, alternative email address) to whatever you want it to be. A little note will appear at the bottom of the screen to show that you have successfully updated your profile. If you change your email address, a new confirmation email will be sent to the new address.

You can search the site without being a member, but no one will be able to contact you. Why not sign up to be a member (because it's FREE) and see how much attention you get. test

On your profile you have an option to make your profile visible to all members of Dateway, to only your favourites on the site, OR you can hide it and only invite certain members to view it. Remember, that you do not have to subscribe to add a photo, but you'll only be able to invite people to view it if you have a subscription.

Choose a photo which shows your face. Then go to Step 5, choose the photo and upload. It's that simple. There is a catch, because your photo will be visible for all to see, we have to check it first, then approve it and only then will it be visible.
